Is there ever enough time to look back at all the things that I've learned. So today, I was up in Phoenix honing my skills with Manual Lymphatic Drainage. 50 minute massage of the head and neck was today's focus. The last half of the class brought me back to the facial techniques utilized by Sothes in Manhattan in the Empire State Building, way back in the 80's. That experience was one of the motivating factors that got me changing career focus.
Class first started with a MINI-LYMPHLIFT. This simple intro to treating the head and neck actually cleared my sinuses enough that the afternoon practice in the prone position was clear headed! This very gentle work is so effective. It's easy on the client and the massage therapist.
