As time flies by,I don't know how one day could merge into the next. Spending time keeping up with daily life, is basically the same. The distracted mind keeps life in a fog. Pain of the body or pain of the heart can also contribute to subtle darkness that engulfs some of us.
Having had to figure out how to deal with my own chronic pain from my injury as a pedestrian. I want the individuals that I work with to know that they are their own source of recovery. The most important organ of change is the mind/brain. The first thought is the intention to heal. The second thought need not be how quickly will I heal but that I am capable to bring the change that I need to heal. Pain can create anger, depression, sadness, and the lack of will. If you are given the comment that this is how you will be, don't allow them to define you or your situation. Age slows your recovery but it does not stop it.
You can usually find someone having a harder time than you. Some of these people may never let the difficulty of their life stop them. If you narrow your definition of yourself, you may lower your ability to bring positive change to your situation. Notice how often you hold your breath throughout the day. Notice how you chose to punish yourself for not attaining full success. Intention comes with focus and also a dream. Come inside and dream the healing that you need. Dreams can take time to come to fulfillment. some of us just have to keep looking for that elusive current to pull us into a pain free existance.
